Ronnisch has completed 44 Rite Aid projects: twenty-four for Rite Aid Corporation and twenty for nine different developers. While other general contractors typically take 22 weeks to complete the building from a pad ready state, Ronnisch delivers a facility in just 16 weeks, with absolutely no compromise in materials or quality of construction.
The most notable features of this project are invisible to passers-by. Because the site contained organic material, it was unsuitable for conventional construction. Therefore, Ronnisch consulted on the project's constructability, proposed numerous options and budgets for the building's support system, and worked with the client to determine which would work best and be most cost-effective. The final decision? Auger Cast Piles which extend 75 feet into the earth to support the entire structure.
Ronnisch also worked with the engineering company on the design of the retaining wall that supports the elevated site which Rite Aid and the adjacent strip mall are built on. The 20' high poured concrete wall and safety rail is nearly 200' long and located just 15' from the Rite Aid store.
