Michigan First Credit Union Headquarters

To better serve its 70,000 members, Michigan First Credit Union chose to construct a new headquarter facility more than triple the size of their original location. Ronnisch provided general contractor services for the resulting three-story building that features a stunning stone and glass façade and a 60-foot high glass entryway with skylight. The building’s unique interior features include four custom chandeliers, blue stone flooring in the lobby, a black granite wall surrounding the elevators, a children’s areas with a seven- by three-foot saltwater aquarium, and state-of-the-art self-service equipment for customers.

Ronnisch’s specialized coordination experience was vital during the most challenging phase of this project. Not only did an existing cell phone tower need to be relocated, but ownership of the tower and the two carrier companies using it also changed during the course of the project, resulting in an 18-month process to construct a new tower elsewhere on the site. Throughout this process, Ronnisch worked seamlessly with our client and the architect to ensure that any and all issues were handled in the most cost- and time-effective manner, thus keeping the project on track.
